Still working with him, yes. As for new acquaintances ... little immediately leaps to mind, but I do recommend that you stay clear of one Amanda Young and one Mark Hoffmann. One hopes that they will now devote their not-inconsiderable energy to making each other miserable and leave the rest of us alone, but both are probably some of the more dangerous inmates about at the moment.

In other news, the vampire population grew and shrank and might be growing again. I don't know if you know any of the Doctors—the alien time-travellers—but there's others of his kind here now; quite a few, in fact. Some more gods, I think, than before. And then the usual blend of heroes and miscreants, in one degree or another.

...His name's Narvin. Sort of a bastard, actually, but he has friends who are all right, in particular this fellow who calls himself K. K's a good man, solid. And I doubt Narvin will be any more trouble on this count.

You can get used to anything, I suppose. It's been, what, a year and a half for me? At this point a god scarcely rates a yawn. Unless, of course, she manages to summon her entire pantheon to take over the Barge, but that's another story ... maybe one better told over a drink.
