04,

[Filtered to all HUMANS (non-vampire, non-Time Lord, etc); ask if not certain]
We've been out of blood for the beasts for some time, huh? What's to stop us from just not feeding them anymore? Can't we lock them up and just let them starve? They live forever, all right? So there'd be no "death toll" or worry of them coming back. We just lock them up and let them starve like the monsters they are.

Why is everyone treating them like they're some kind of humans, huh? I could say the same about some of the other creatures here too, but they haven't become dangerous yet.

A difference furnished by our backgrounds, no doubt. My typical clientele is nothing if not unpredictable.

All humans are predictable, all right?

..Unless you have a history of working with these vampires and angels and the sort?

Not angels.

Vampires, certainly. Werewolves. Other, more exotic creatures of the supernatural fringes. Granted, most of my clients where eccentric millionaires, but regardless, if they could pay for the job, I would do it.

I choose my own survival, all right? Then business. Money can't do anything for you if you're dead.

Your opinion, and you're welcome to it. I agree--to an extent. Survival at any cost is preferable, but life without risk is entirely dull.

You can get plenty of risk with humans. There's no reason to add vampires into the mix.
