We've been out of blood for the beasts for some time, huh? What's to stop us from just not feeding them anymore? Can't we lock them up and just let them starve? They live forever, all right? So there'd be no "death toll" or worry of them coming back. We just lock them up and let them starve like the monsters they are.

Why is everyone treating them like they're some kind of humans, huh? I could say the same about some of the other creatures here too, but they haven't become dangerous yet.

Nothing, if they've done something deserving of being in there. You can't punish the people that haven't done any wrong just because they're the same species as the ones who have.

Then why not punish the ones that have done something wrong? Why is everyone here so complacent about living with what could be considered our natural enemy, huh? What if they turn one of us? Or if they outnumber us, huh?

...I'd been assuming their wardens were punishing them. A lot of them are inmates, and there aren't a lot of them at all. If no one's been turned yet, it doesn't seem like much of a worry. Have you gotten any info on them? That's the only way you'll know if we're actually in any danger.

Fine. Sorry. But have you talked to these vampires? Have you talked to their wardens? Do you even know if it's possible for them to turn people here? Inmates with powers have those powers reduced. I think vampirism counts as a power. Maybe they're too weak to be a threat in that way.
