❂ 01, [VOICE]

[There's a short silence.]

Oh, fuck me. Not this place again, all right? I'll take my chances back there, brak.

[...]

At least tell me, have many of the vampires gone and has anything much changed, huh? Or is it still all moord, naai, geld with you?

'Blood, sex, and money,' huh?

-Private to Sexby-
You still here, bru?

He did. I think it's fair to say it's all settled now.

[A small, sympathetic chuckle.] I think I know exactly what you mean, there.

Aye, you can, you can.

She has... taken revenge too far, but I cannot say much more, sir. It would be unfair.

private- Spam or assume?

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
What's her name?

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Then you're as fucked as they are, ou.

private - spam me up. I miss me some afrikaans.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Sylvanas Windrunner. Quite a name, is it not?

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Ja, ja. I'm sure that's what you meant. [He doesn't believe you, Saito, and his tone makes that clear.]

You have a name, huh?

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
You forgot to give me his name, Una.

You still working with O'Brien? Any new acquaintances I should be aware of, huh?

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds like a bloody mercenary. Is she worth anything?

Re: private- will spam next tag :3

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
She is a very skilled warrior, and should not be underestimated.

No mercenary, though.

[identity profile] boughtitall.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:37 am (UTC)(link)

Saito. And yourself?

[identity profile] bloodbisque.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
And why do you want to know about vampires, mm?

[identity profile] tadwizard.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Probably.

I didn't forget, Danny.

Still working with him, yes. As for new acquaintances ... little immediately leaps to mind, but I do recommend that you stay clear of one Amanda Young and one Mark Hoffmann. One hopes that they will now devote their not-inconsiderable energy to making each other miserable and leave the rest of us alone, but both are probably some of the more dangerous inmates about at the moment.

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
You don't want me asking around about you and finding out for myself, all right? Make it easier on both of us.

That's good to hear.

[Damn it, Danny.]

If I'm to tell you, it has to be with the understanding that the matter is closed, and retribution is emphatically not the order of the day. Discretion is.

In other news, the vampire population grew and shrank and might be growing again. I don't know if you know any of the Doctors—the alien time-travellers—but there's others of his kind here now; quite a few, in fact. Some more gods, I think, than before. And then the usual blend of heroes and miscreants, in one degree or another.

Sun Tzu said one should always know the number of his enemies.

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
All right.

[And Danny made his way to the room, glad he at least remembered the general layout of the Barge. He couldn't be bothered to remember things like specific room numbers, people he had barely known, or the details of everything.. but he had always had a decent sense of direction and was good with faces. The inmate knocked on the door not too long after he said he would be over, running a hang over his khaki button-down. The Barge was pretty damn cold after Liberia and Sierra Leone.]

Ja, ja. I have no reason for revenge. [Because he doesn't know where he stands with you.] Are you going to tell me or not, huh?

Gods? [That gets a small laugh.] This place is some kind of bloody die hel. How can you stand it, huh?
bigbad: injuries (choke me bleed me)

[personal profile] bigbad 2011-03-11 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
What've you got against vampires anyway? Not saying as a rule we're model citizens, but most people here tolerate us.

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
Most people here are lazy, huh? Vampires are against human survival and I'm against that.
bigbad: injuries ([Impudent] poofter)

[personal profile] bigbad 2011-03-11 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
Humans are against human survival. Vampires hardly make a dent in comparison.

[identity profile] diamondtherough.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not fond of humans either, but at least they can survive without killing each other in the right situations. Most vampires need to do it to survive.
bigbad: injuries (not in that sense anyway)

[personal profile] bigbad 2011-03-11 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Not here. There's blood in the kitchens. And there are ways to survive without killing humans no matter what sort of vampire you are.

[identity profile] boughtitall.livejournal.com 2011-03-11 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
Charmed, Mr. Archer, I am sure.

You have previous experience with this barge, I take it?
